The NetTel@Africa Scholarship Programme provides promising practitioners from the private and public sector with tuition support to participate in the Postgraduate Diploma Programme in ICT Policy and Regulation.
Up to ten (10) scholarships are available for this Programme offered in Makerere University . The amount of the scholarship will be $1,300 for male students and $1,500 for female students. This funding is meant to cover tuition fees, instructional fees, computer/Internet lab fees, and a book allowance.

Eligibility

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) IRC Tanzania serves Burundian and Congolese refugees in the Kigoma Region, Northwestern Tanzania. In Kasulu, among other services, the IRC provides camp management, child protection and GBV services for Burundian refugees Mtabila Camp. In Nyarugusu Camp, IRC provides community services including GBV, child protection, youth and development, community-based rehabilitation, and vulnerable care to Congolese refugees.

Background
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) IRC Tanzania serves Burundian and Congolese refugees in the Kigoma Region, Northwestern Tanzania. In Kasulu, among other services, the IRC provides camp management, child protection and GBV services for Burundian refugees Mtabila Camp. In Nyarugusu Camp, IRC provides community services including GBV, child protection, youth and development, community-based rehabilitation, and vulnerable care to Congolese refugees.
In Kigoma, the IRC manages the Kibirizi reception centre to register and medically screen Congolese asylum seekers, and the refugee transit centre, a temporary stop over serving resettlement cases, protection cases, and preparing returnees for travel to Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi. .1. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Mbozi District Council during the financial year 2010/2011. It is .intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Construction of Mbulu Mlowo Irrigation Scheme.
2. 2. The Mbozi District Council now invites sealed tenders from eligible “National” contractors registered in Class VI and above for construction of Mbulu Mlowo Irrigation Scheme.
