Project/Proposal Summary:
To conceptualize and undertake monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of USAID Tanzania’s Feed the Future (FtF) program over a five-year period to enable USAID/Tanzania to fulfill its performance monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and dissemination requirements as mandated in the Automated Directives System (ADS) and other Agency guidance. The project will both deliver M&E services and strengthen local capacity to deliver such services.
Position Summary:
MSI is looking for a Database/IT Manager to provide overall database and IT design, procurement and management services. He/she will design and manage the database used to store and analyze performance data, lead technical aspects of procuring IT services for project website development, internal networking, and mobile phone/SMS data transmittal services. He/she will step in to solve IT challenges as they arise in project implementation
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all project IT functions
- Design and implementation of project and program database
- Provide technical input in procuring IT services
- Oversee IT service provision to ensure quality and timeliness
- Manage website
- Ensure seamless IT linkages within the project.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in IT system design and maintenance
- Experience with database design and implementation
- At least five years’ experience managing IT applications in an office environment
